You’ve probably used Google spreadsheets or docs to edit content with others, but did you know that you can integrate Google Apps into your internal communication? For example, our team shares a Google Drive that has all of our team’s documents and resources so they can access them from any device. We use Google docs to keep an updated list of every department’s weekly accomplishment. Individuals can access the doc and add completed tasks anytime.

Google Calendar is great for teammates to track company events, teammate birthdays, and holidays.

Give your team a channel to share creativity and vote on each others’ ideas. In Aha!, you can categorize ideas and tag which ideas will be implemented. We use Aha! to give teammates who prefer voicing their thoughts in writing versus in meetings. For example, sales teammates will post ideas on product features to add. In the post, the teammate will attach the feedback from a customer requesting the feature. If the idea receives a lot of votes, we add it to the product roadmap. It’s a great tool to keep your teammates engaged with the product.
